Ama D.

Hi everyone!

My name is Ama and I am a 4th year Biology major, minoring in both Neuroscience & Mental health and Psychology.

This year I am super excited to be finishing my last semester at Carleton. My experience has been very fulfilling with having the opportunity to take part in many different aspects of the school environment. Aside from volunteering as a mentor at the Science Student Success Centre, I also work at Learning Support Services (LSS) in the library as a Peer Helper, where I have the role of assisting students in academic success. In addition, I have worked and volunteered in other organizations around campus such as the student alliance for mental health, CUSA student issues awareness week and the Ghanaian student association.

Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, watching movies and travelling. After graduating I'm planning to continue my education in the healthcare field. 

I have always been a person who enjoys connecting with others and meeting new people. That being said, I am always willing to help anyone in anyway I can, so please feel free to ask!
