Ashley H.

SSSC Team:
Health Care Team

Hey! My name is Ashley, and I will be going into my 2nd year of Biology (Honours) in the fall, working towards a minor in Neuroscience and Mental Health. This is my first year volunteering with the SSSC and I'm super excited!

I'm a peanut butter enthusiast, professional pun-maker and just like Hermey off of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, an aspiring dentist. I also am a sports fanatic, book worm and love to travel. I'm from a small town named Chatham which is between smack dab between Windsor and London (shout out to those who are reppin' southern Ontario up here in Ottawa). Here at Carleton I am an executive member of the Free the Children (Me to We) club, a member of the varsity badminton team, and a volunteer with residence counselling services as a mental health champion. I'm also a frosh facilitator for fall 2016 so you might see me around during the first week! The SSSC played a huge role in my survival of first year and I hope it does for you too! To me, the most important thing in first year is finding out how you learn. Feel free to ask me anything at all!
