Chauncey W.

Hi! My name is Chauncey and I'm in my second year of the Double Honours Mathematics and Physics program. My main goal for attending university is to learn as much as I can and to push myself. I'm hoping to one day earn a doctorate (in math or physics? Who knows!).

Last year I was a first-year representative for the SSSC as well as the math society and I am looking forward to being a student mentor for the upcoming year!

Over this summer I have been working at my Dean's Summer Research Internship in the mathematics department. It has been quite challenging but a great opportunity to learn and see what it's like to be doing math research!

My program and extra-curriculars keep me extremely busy, so during the semester I don't really get up to much other than school. In my off time (summers!) I like to play video games, listen to music and cook (on the BBQ especially).
