Hey everyone! My name is Divin, and I’m an Honours Bachelor of Science student majoring in psychology, minoring in biology. I loved Carleton so much that I decided to return for a 5^th year to complete my degree! After Carleton, I hope to work in the health care field. As an aspiring dentist, I have tons of knowledge on North American dental schools, the DAT and requirements for application – so please don’t hesitate to ask if you’re interested as well.

This will be my third year with the SSSC as a mentor, and my second year as the Health Care Team Co-Lead. This past year, I completed my 4^th year Honour’s Project, which looked at associations between the presence of mental illness and poor oral health/oral disease manifestations in dental patients. This summer, I will be working as a STEM Camp Counsellor and volunteering with the McKay Lab on campus. I love getting involved on campus - in addition to the SSSC, I am an undergraduate TA for introductory psychology courses, and served as an executive member of UNICEF Carleton, where I helped plan fundraisers and raised awareness for the developing refugee/migrant crises around the world.
