Hi everyone! My name is Elia and I am entering my second year in the Bachelor of Health Science program, with a concentration in Health Throughout the Lifespan. The summer before first year I had reached out to the SSSC and was matched with an upper year student. I had so many questions with regards to registration and my classes that it was definitely a beneficial experience and my mentor was most helpful. I look forward to meeting many of you and hopefully impacting you the same way!
I am very excited to be a member of the SSSC Health Care Team and to help make your transition into first year a success. My name might sound familiar as I am currently employed in the Undergraduate Telecounselling Offices at Carleton and might have spoken with you at various times in the year. This summer I will be working in Dr. Kristin Connor’s lab on the Dean’s Summer Research Internship (DSRI) for the Faculty of Science. Outside of school and work, I am a Sunday School teacher, a tutor, a dancer, a shopper, a baker and a traveler.
