Hey Guys! Welcome to the SSSC! My name is Gabriela and I am a third year Biochemistry student. I am absolutely in love with my field of study. This is my first year as a mentor and I am very excited! I enjoy travelling, reading, and talking…especially talking. I like being helpful and I hope that I can be of help to you. I received a DSRI and will be working at Carleton this summer with Dr. Alex Wong doing research in antibiotic resistance, which I sure hope will give me a sneak peak of what the future holds. If there was one thing I learned first year, is that you need to ask for help when needed, so here we are!! Don't be afraid to ask questions, ask for help, or simply drop by for a chat.
