Hi! I'm Jannelle and 4th year Neuroscience and Mental health (Minor in Biology - so that I have more space for courses of interest rather than take the Combined Honours). I am interested in pursuing research/academia and I'm particularly interested in neurodevelopmental models regarding microRNA dysregulation in schizophrenia development - but my interests are flexible.
I've been involved with various organizations on campus, which are listed below in case you have any questions about any.
In my spare time I dabble in guitar, drums, piano, bass. I Netflix marathon to no end, hang out with my dog(s), play video games and play soccer (working on getting back in form from an ACL tear). I'm a huge fan of Liverpool FC.
This 2016 Summer, I'll be working in home renovation and accounting for "Home & Housing", moving to new a house, taking an early summer class, maybe doing some "research" for a random paper assignment I'll inevitably have to write in 4th year... Maybe I'll read a book, maybe just Harry Potter again.
