Hi there! My name is Sarah and I will be entering my 4^th year of Neuroscience and Mental Health in the fall. I am very excited to be back again as a member of the SSSC after being a member of the First Year Representatives team in my first year. This year, I will be a mentor and a member of the career team. I am very passionate about mental health and have been a member of the Student Alliance for Mental Health and the Student Mental Health Advisory Committee over the past few years. I was also a Peer Helper at the Student Academic Success Center during the 2015-2016 year (so ask me about your audit or Academic Performance Evaluation!). I also have a lot of lab experience on campus and have worked a summer in both Dr. Maria DeRosa’s and Dr. Ken Storey’s labs. This summer I have a Co-op position at Abbot Point of Care working with portable blood testing cartridges. In my free time, I love to camp, play clarinet or piano, or work on my new-found skiing skills.
